如今的存储卡领域已经是标准林立，但新规范还是不断地出现。继SxS之后，索尼今天又宣布了“SxS PRO”。
从索尼目前公布的资料看，SxS PRO无论规范、性能还是用途、价格都与SxS基本一样，比如都是基于ExpressCard/34标准、兼容ExpressCard插槽、数据传输速度可达800Mb/s、面向索尼XDCAM EX系列专业摄像机、8/16GB版本售价500/900美元等。
SxS PRO尺寸34×5×75毫米，重约27克。虽然暂时没有SxS的尺寸数据，但对比图片来看，二者的外形应该也是一摸一样。
SxS PRO存储卡定于11月份上市，和SxS产品还是一样。
也许，SxS PRO其实就是SxS，只不过改了个名字，看起来更“专业”而已。
